Rovo is now Generally Available (GA)!
What this means for you:
To thank you for being an early adopter, Rovo Beta customers will receive complimentary product access through December 15.
If you decide to upgrade to Rovo GA, you will start on a 30-day free trial. For more information about what happens after you upgrade, see After you upgrade, below.
Rovo Beta access ends December 15, 2024. You must upgrade to the Rovo GA offering by 11:59pm PST on that date to continue using Rovo on your existing sites. If you upgrade by December 15, Rovo will remain connected on all existing sites unless those sites are Sandboxes. If you have Sandboxes, see New ways to test drive Rovo for your organization below.
How to upgrade to Rovo GA by December 15
Start your free 30-day trial of Rovo GA now, by:
Go to: Adminhub > Billing > In the row of the “Free” Rovo plan > Manage > Change plan.
Once on the plan selection page select “Try it free” under the Paid plan. This will start your free 30-day trial of Rovo GA.
If you’re not ready to upgrade yet, engage your account executive or submit a ticket to request a quote.
After you upgrade
After you upgrade, you may need to reconnect your third-party products:
If you previously connected Google Drive or Sharepoint, you will need to reconnect both products to Rovo after you upgrade as we’ve updated the connector flow to clarify that data from connected third-party products can be used in connection with all Atlassian products, including Rovo.
When you upgrade to GA (or whenever you delete an existing connector) be aware that you won’t immediately be able to add that same connector back. There is a 48-hour delay to ensure we can remove the existing data. For more information, see Disconnect a product from Rovo.
When you upgrade to GA, you will also get access to new connectors not previously available in Beta, for example, Github, Slack and Microsoft Teams.
We are available to support you in setting up your connectors. Reach out to your account executive or message us via Intercom to get help from the product team in setting up connectors!
What’s new in Rovo?
Changes to the Rovo user experience
Your users now have access to more advanced Rovo features:
Atlassian Agents - Now in addition to creating your own Agents, Rovo comes with several Agents created by Atlassian such as the Decision Director, Product Requirements Guide, and more.
Agent actions - Actions are what Agents use to take their responses and do something with them like post a comment, draft and publish a Confluence page, or create a Jira issue. There are now many actions to choose from when you’re creating or editing an Agent.
Bookmarks - Add searchable bookmarks, so you and your teammates can find things faster. Add your own to ensure your most popular documents or links show up first in Search.
Connectors - We have improved the connector experience. As a result, end users will see a prompt to connect their Google and Sharepoint account(s) again using the OAuth app in order to see 3P content in Rovo.
Changes to the Rovo Administration experience
Rovo instances now appear as workspaces in the Sites tab:
You’ll now have more control over managing connectors and subscriptions for each site with Rovo.
To view your sites, go to Adminhub > Settings > Rovo > Sites
Connectors are now managed through the “Sites” tab
We’ve moved where you manage Rovo connectors from. Since third-party connectors are enabled per site, now you can manage them where they are activated.
Go to Adminhub > Settings > Rovo > Sites
To add a new connector, next to the Site, Select
...
> Add connectorTo manage an existing connector, expand the Site, and next to the connector Select
...
> Manage

New ways to test drive Rovo for your organization
There are new ways to test drive Rovo for your organization.
Sandboxes are no longer supported in GA.
If you have previously activated Rovo Beta for a Sandbox site, it will be deactivated from that site within 14 days after you upgrade to the GA offering. You will not be able to activate Rovo on any new sandboxes.
We're working on making Atlassian Rovo GA available for Sandbox. Until then, you can activate Rovo on an existing site or set up a test site.
Deactivating Rovo
Rovo deactivation is now managed alongside your other product subscriptions in the Billing Console
When you deactivate Rovo, you’ll go through the subscription cancellation flow. This will make it easier for you to manage your bill.
To deactivate Rovo from a site, go to Adminhub > Settings > Rovo > Sites, and against the site you want to deactivate, Select
...
> Manage subscription. Then in Billing Console select...
> Cancel subscription.
To remove Rovo from your organization, go to Adminhub > Billing > next to the plan you want to deactivate select Manage > once in Billing Console Select
...
> Cancel subscription.
