What can I do with this?
Through the menu function ‘Auction’ you can follow a number of clocks in real time. This gives you an excellent impression of which products are being auctioned.
The app runs in perfect sync with the auction clocks of Royal FloraHolland.
You choose which clocks you want to follow and how many. For each clock, you can set additional preferences.
Creating a clock grid
You can create your own grid by clicking the plus icon in the top right corner.
When you click this, a screen appears where you can choose how many clocks you want to display. For the grid, you can choose a preset number of blocks, or you can define the number of blocks yourself by setting the number of rows and columns.
When you click the plus sign in the grid to add a clock, you can select a clock location and clock number. You can choose whether you want to see the photo of the current lot or the next lot. By adding both to the same grid, you can view the photos of both the current and next lot simultaneously.
With several available options, you can add the grower name, product name, and product attributes to the displayed photo. Using the option ‘Show auction location’ you can display the physical location of centrally auctioned products.
Finally, you can specify which type of photo should be shown by preference. For example, if you place ‘Trolley’ at the top, that photo will be shown if available for the lot. If not available, the next available photo type will be used.
You can display a different photo in each block of the grid. After configuring everything, you can give the new grid a name and save it. You can use multiple grids.
With the copy button for a grid, you can quickly create a variation of an existing layout.
Tip: Create different auction screens to easily follow multiple clocks. By clicking the name of a grid, you can switch quickly between screens using a dropdown menu.
Different photo sizes in one screen
With grids, you can flexibly adjust the size of each block. For example, you can display the current lot larger than the next lot on the same clock.
Starting from a base grid, you can merge blocks. After assigning a clock to a block, you can use the green plus and minus buttons to make a block larger or smaller. You can merge some blocks while leaving others unchanged.
Example grids
Example 1
The first example shows clocks in Eelde: left and right the trolley photo by preference, and in the middle the clock photos of the current and next lot on the two Eelde clocks. This layout uses a 4×5 matrix. The cells in the left two and right two columns are fully merged.
Example 2
The second example shows several central clocks: each clock displays the current clock photo in large format, with the next lot below it. This layout uses a 3×3 matrix, where the blocks in the top two rows are merged.
