What’s the house edge?

How the house edge works and why it matters.

The house edge is the percentage that gives the platform a mathematical advantage over time.

For example, with a 5% house edge, a theoretical $100 wager would return $95 to players on average over the long term, while $5 represents the house edge.

This doesn't mean you lose 5% on every bet. Individual results can be very different you can win or lose more.

Simply put: the house edge only reflects the expected outcome over a large number of wagers.
