What’s the house edge?

How the house edge works and why it matters.

Standard Gamemode

Every game tick (which occurs every 250ms) includes a very small built-in house edge of around 0.05%. This means that over the long run, the platform has a slight mathematical advantage, which is how the game remains sustainable.

It’s important to note that this edge is extremely minimal compared to most traditional casinos or crash trading sites. At just 0.05%, players have a much fairer chance of achieving consistent results while still allowing the platform to operate reliably.

The house edge does not affect any one specific game round in isolation. Instead, it becomes noticeable only over large numbers of rounds, ensuring the game remains provably fair while still maintaining balance between players and the house.

Candleflip

A 2% fee is taken from the pot, regardless of whether the player wins or loses.

Key points:

  • The flip itself is exactly 50/50.

  • The house edge is 2%, applied as a fee on the pot.

Example:

You place a 1 SOL bet.
Win or lose, a 2% fee is applied to the pot.
