My account has been compromised

Information about how to proceed if your wallet is compromised.

If you believe your wallet has been compromised (someone else has access to it), stop using that wallet immediately.

What this means:

  • Any funds sent to a compromised wallet can be automatically drained by the attacker.

  • Continuing to use the wallet puts all future funds at risk.

What to do:

  1. Stop using the compromised wallet completely.
    Do not connect it to any sites or receive new funds.

  2. Create a brand-new wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.) with a new seed phrase.

  3. Never share the new seed phrase with anyone, under any circumstances.

  4. Use only the new wallet going forward & create a new Rugs Fun account.

Important:

  • Transferring accounts, balances, or referral progress to a new wallet is not possible at this time.

Notes:

  • A compromised wallet cannot be secured again.

  • Changing passwords or reinstalling the wallet does not fix a leaked seed phrase.

  • We cannot reverse transactions.

Your wallet = your account. Protect it carefully.
