Event Collaborators (ECs) are individuals such as co-hosts, sponsors, and check-in teams who assist in managing an event. Depending on the role assigned, collaborators may have varying levels of access to event tools, guest management, and ticketing.

Setting Up Your Profile & Joining an Event

If you’ve been invited to collaborate on an event, you’ll receive an email invitation or SMS from Rumor.

How to Join an Event & Set Up Your Profile

  1. Open the email or sms invitation and click ‘Join Event’

    1. If you are on mobile and have the app downloaded you will be brought directly to the app to create your profile, otherwise this will open in your browser.

  3. Click ‘Finish’ to complete your setup

Once your profile is created, you’ll be redirected to your Event Dashboard, where you can view and manage your assigned event(s).

If you are an existing collaborator on other events, selecting ‘Join Event’ from the email will take you directly to your login screen.

Requesting Additional Ticket Allocation

When a Host invites a Guest List Contributor to collaborate on an event, they may assign a specific ticket allocation per ticket type. If you need additional tickets beyond your initial allocation, you can submit a request to the Host.

How to Request More Tickets

  1. Navigate to the Event Dashboard and select your event.

  2. Locate the ‘My Ticket Allocation’ section

  3. Click ‘Request More Tickets’

  4. In the pop up on your screen you will see listed all ticket types you have been allocated. You will see your original allocation and have the ability to enter the number you wish to request for each ticket type.

  5. When you have entered your request, select 'Submit Request'.

Ticket Allocation Warning:

  • If you’ve issued 90% of your allocated tickets, a warning banner will appear at the top of the event page.

  • Click ‘Request Tickets’ to follow the steps above and request more.

Receiving a Response on Your Ticket Request

Once the Host has responded to your request, you will receive an email notification with a link directing you back to the Event Dashboard to view the updated allocation.
