Scheduled leave is partial or full time off typically used for annual PTO or sick leave. It is managed in the People Planner.
Only Admin and Manager users with permission to Manage People can add scheduled leave to people they manage.
If you are a Contributor user or only have access to timesheets, please contact your manager to add the scheduled leave for you.
Adding scheduled leave
1. From a person's row
You can book scheduled leave by going to a person's row on the People planner and adding time off there.
Click on the person's name and click-and-drag time off in the Time Off row.
Enter the number of hours off per day.
Note: Scheduled leave defaults to full days off, but you can reduce the ‘Hours Off per Day’ to create partial days off.
2. In the Time Off grouping
For multiple people at a time:
From the People Planner, change the display mode to Time Offs
Click New Scheduled Leave
Select all the people you want to create time off for. Selecting multiple people will create the same time off for everyone selected.
Use the calendar controls to add new time off
Click Add
Note: Partial Day Scheduled Leave cannot be added for multiple people
Notes on scheduled leave
You can add a note to the time off to specify the type of leave. Click on the 3-dot menu and select Edit. Click on the Note button to add your note.
You'll see the note when you hover over a time off in the planner.
You'll also be able to view all time off and their notes in each person's time off section on their dashboard.
Working with scheduled leave
You can move, edit and delete all scheduled leaves.
You cannot schedule work over full-day scheduled leaves.
If you create full day scheduled leaves over an existing assignments, the assignment hours will be automatically be reduced.

Editing and deleting a scheduled leave
From the People Planner, find the scheduled leave and hover over the bar. Click on the 3-dot button, select Edit or Delete
Delete multiple scheduled leaves for multiple people
From the People Planner, switch to the Time Off display mode
Right-click on a scheduled leave to be deleted and select Enable Multi-Select Mode
Click on all other scheduled leaves to be deleted
Right-click again and select Delete All Selected
