Advertising - Conversion Tracking

Learn how to connect your advertising platforms to Swift and track customer actions, bookings, and revenue from your campaigns using Conversion Tracking.

Available on selected Swift plans

Conversion Tracking is available on selected Swift subscription plans. If you'd like to add this feature to your account, please contact our Support team at support@runswiftapp.com.

Conversion Tracking lets you connect your advertising platforms, such as Meta (Facebook), Google, TikTok, and X, directly to your Swift booking page.

Once connected, Swift automatically sends booking and customer activity back to your advertising platform as conversion events. This helps you:

  • Measure the return on your advertising spend

  • Build retargeting audiences

  • Allow advertising platforms to optimize your campaigns over time

  • Track booking revenue generated from your ads

Supported platforms

Swift currently supports the following advertising platforms:

  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel

  • Google Analytics (GA4)

  • Google Ads

  • TikTok Pixel

  • X (Twitter) Pixel

You can connect any combination of these platforms. Each integration works independently, and no coding or developer assistance is required.

Accessing Conversion Tracking

To manage your integrations:

  1. In your Swift Admin dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Scroll down to the Conversion Tracking section.

From here, you can:

  • View your connected platforms

  • Connect a new platform

  • Update an existing tracking ID

  • Disconnect a platform

Connecting a platform

To connect a platform:

  1. In your Swift Admin account, go to Settings > Integrations

  2. Click Connect (or Configure if the platform has already been set up).

  3. Paste in the required tracking ID.

  4. Click Save.

Once connected, the platform card will display Connected.

If you'd like to disable tracking later, open the platform again and select Disconnect.

Finding your tracking ID

Each advertising platform requires a different identifier. Every connection window includes a Learn More link with instructions for locating the correct ID.

Platform

Required ID

Example

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

Pixel ID

1234567890123

Google Analytics (GA4)

Measurement ID

G-XXXXXXXXXX

Google Ads

Conversion ID

AW-XXXXXXXXXX

TikTok Pixel

Pixel ID

CXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

X (Twitter) Pixel

Pixel ID

o1a2b

Swift validates the format of your tracking ID as you enter it.

If you receive a validation error, make sure you've entered the correct type of ID for that platform. One common mistake is entering a Google Analytics Measurement ID (which begins with G-) into the Google Ads integration, which expects a Conversion ID beginning with AW-.

What Swift tracks

After a platform has been connected, Swift automatically sends conversion events throughout your online booking experience.

Tracking is enabled for all supported booking types, including:

  • Rentals

  • Lessons

  • Camps

  • Classes

  • Memberships

  • Packages

The following customer actions are tracked automatically:

  • Viewing a service category

  • Viewing a specific service

  • Starting checkout

  • Reaching the payment or booking summary step

  • Completing a booking (purchase/conversion)

Completed booking events also include the booking value and currency, allowing your advertising platforms to report the revenue generated from your campaigns.

Google Tag Manager

Swift does not currently support adding a Google Tag Manager container or custom tracking scripts to your booking page.

Things to know

  • Conversion events are sent from your Swift web booking page.

  • Swift validates that your tracking ID is formatted correctly, but it cannot verify whether the ID is active within your advertising account.

  • If events aren't appearing immediately, first confirm that you've entered the correct tracking ID. Advertising platforms may also take some time before displaying newly received events.
