Cash App now allows you to setup a bitcoin wallet within your Cash app and buy/transfer bitcoin. It makes it easy and convenient to transfer money in and out RUSH using your Cash App.
Download or Open the Cash App
Open the Cash App on your phone or if you don't have the cash app, download the App from the App Store.
Buy Bitcoin with the Cash App
If you've previously setup a bitcoin wallet within Cash App you'll need to go through the process of doing this. You'll find Bitcoin in the bottom navigation bar of the Cash App. Select it and click the buy button. If this is your first time setting it up you may have to enter in some personal information
Confirm your BitCoin Wallet
You will be taken to a page where you need to enable Bitcoin withdrawals and deposits. After doing this, you will receive a unique wallet address.
Go to the Deposit Area of the RUSH app
Go to the deposit section of RUSH and choose Bitcoin as the payment method. When you click "start" in the bitcoin section you'll be taken to a page that includes a QR code and a Bitcoin address for sending funds to RUSH. You should be able to click and copy either one to use in your Cash App.
Go to Cash App and Withdraw Bitcoin
Proceed to the new wallet section of your Cash App account and click “Withdraw Bitcoin.” You will need to input an amount and either scan the QR code or enter in the Bitcoin address that you you got from the bitcoin page at RUSH
Transfer Complete!
There can be some lag in the transfer of Bitcoin, but once you get confirmation of the Bitcoin transfer within your Cash App, your RUSH account should be credited within 30 minutes (it's usually all going to happen within a couple of minutes, but there can be delays so we like to give the worst case scenerio!)
A similar process can be used for withdrawal - essentially you're simply going to choose Bitcoin as a withdrawal method in RUSH. You'll determine how much you'd like to withdraw and then we'll send you a voucher for the dollar amount you requested to withdrawal. You can then use that voucher to convert those funds back to Bitcoin any time you'd like. You should be able to choose the Cash App wallet to deposit the funds into.
Here is an article from CashApp on transferring bitcoin in the event the information above does not provide you enough detail.
