Technician Visibility and Platform Access

Who can be listed on the RV Help platform?

The platform is exclusively for NRVTA members. This includes registered, certified, and master certified technicians and inspectors who will all have visibility on the platform.

What is RV Help's relationship to the association (RVTAA/NRVIA, etc)

RV Help is an entirely separate company that has partnered with the association with the goal of bringing more eyeballs to the great mobile techs and inspectors they certify. We don't take any dues; but at present we only allow association certified members to be on the platform to ensure high quality.

Will there be paid advertising or premium placement options?

No, RV Help has decided against offering paid advertising at this time. While we have acquired a directory that previously offered paid placement tiers, these are being discontinued to ensure fair visibility for all certified technicians.

Certification and Verification

How does RV Help verify technician certifications?

Verification is handled through direct API integration with RVTAA. Rather than relying on technicians to self-report their qualifications, all certification information is pulled directly from the association.

What happens if a technician's certification expires?

Technicians with expired certifications will automatically become inactive on the platform. Certification status updates are handled automatically through the RVTAA API integration.

How will different certification levels be displayed?

Different certification levels (registered, certified, and master certified) will be visually distinct in search results, making it easy for customers to identify technician qualifications. There will also be filters customers can use to search.

Platform Features

Is there a way to make my profile inactive?

Yes, RV Help provides a inactive mode in their listing settings. Once enabled, the provider will be disabled and they won't appear in search results.

How does RV Help support traveling technicians?

Providers can instantly change their location and service radius via the Service Area section of their profile. We have plans to add support for travel dates and future booking very soon and will let everyone know when that becomes available.

In addition, RV Help is positioned to rank well in Google when people search for mobile RV techs and RV inspectors near them. Once you change your location, you will instantly be visible in a search page for the new location.

Important Note For Teams

We've automatically created your account on RV Help based on your existing rvservicegroup.com profile, however there are some benefits for teams to merge together multiple profiles into one shared business listing.

The benefits of merging multiple profiles into a single listing are

  • Ability to sync your Google reviews

  • Ranked in search based on the highest certification level

    • If one of you is a Certified Tech and the other is a Certified Inspector, the shared listing will show both of those certifications

  • Shared messaging features

  • Many more forthcoming benefits

Will technicians have access to performance statistics?

Yes, RV Help is exploring various analytics capabilities to help technicians understand their platform performance. We're evaluating different metrics that could be valuable, such as profile views, search result appearances, and customer contact rates. The specific analytics offerings will be determined based on technician feedback and platform capabilities.

Platform Integration and Transition

How will existing reviews be handled from MyRVResource (MyRVResource customers only)?

If you were a customer of My RV Resource, any reviews that were collected on My RV Resource have been migrated to the new platform.

RV Help is focused on promoting the value of NRVTA education and association through both marketing efforts and platform design. The platform exclusively features NRVTA-certified professionals, ensuring high standards and verified expertise.

Customer Relationships

How will RV Help handle customer connections?

The platform will serve as an intermediary for initial connections allowing site visitors to search listings and view profiles, but requires them to create an account to contact the providers. We're approaching this carefully but we've already been seeing some great results with higher quality inquiries going to our techs and inspectors.

How does RV Help ensure profile accuracy?

Profile accuracy is maintained through:

  • Direct certification verification via RVTAA

  • Exclusive platform access for NRVTA members

  • Automatic certification status updates

  • Regular profile verification checks

How will RV Help promote NRVTA certification value?

The platform will integrate customer education about NRVTA certification through both marketing efforts and platform design, helping users understand the value and high standards represented by NRVTA certification.
