RV Help currently has three distinct levels of verification with an expectation to add a fourth before long. Verification levels are a way that the platform can ensure we're providing good, up to date information to end users.

RV Help currently has three distinct levels of verification with an expectation to add a fourth before long. Verification levels are a way that the platform can ensure we're providing good, up to date information to end users.

Current Verification Levels

1. None

This is the default verification level for all new service providers who have not claimed their listing. At this level, providers have started the process or have been imported in but haven't yet completed their basic profile information.

Characteristics:

  1. Initial listing creation

  2. Basic account setup

  3. Limited visibility in search results

  4. No verification badge

2. Profile Complete

This is the initial verification level when a service provider completes their basic profile information. While this represents the first step in our verification process, it does not include any additional verification steps.

Requirements:

  1. Complete basic profile information

  2. Set up business details

  3. Define service area

  4. Add pricing information (for technicians)

3. RV Help Verified

This is our standard verification level for established service providers. RV Help Verified members have undergone our verification process and met specific criteria.

Requirements:

  1. Complete profile information

  2. Valid RVTAA/NRVIA membership

  3. Verified contact information (email and phone)

  4. In-person verification completed (this is handled automatically via the associations in person training)

Benefits:

  1. Increased visibility in search results

  2. Verified badge display

  3. Unique member number

  4. Higher placement in search rankings

Important Note About Verification Status:

RV Help conducts annual verification reviews to ensure all information remains current and valuable to our users. To maintain verified status, listings must:

  1. Provide detailed, useful descriptions of services and business operations

  2. Avoid placeholder content or redirects to external websites

  3. Business Name must be legal business name or DBA

  4. Keep contact information up to date

  5. Maintain accurate service area and pricing information

RV Help reserves the right to remove verification status if:

  1. Information becomes outdated or inaccurate

  2. Content is not helpful to users (e.g., using description fields for external links instead of actual business information)

  3. Annual verification requirements are not met

  4. Professional credentials expire or become invalid

4. RV Help Certified Pro (Coming Soon)

Our highest level of verification, representing exceptional service providers who have demonstrated consistent excellence.

Future Requirements (To Be Determined):

  1. Maintain RV Help Verified status

  2. Minimum 4.8+ rating

  3. At least 10 verified reviews

  4. Certified/Master Certified RVTAA technician or inspector status

Future Benefits:

  1. Premium placement in search results

  2. Pro badge display

  3. Featured listing status

  4. Highest visibility in search rankings

  5. Access to exclusive features

Verification Process

The verification process is progressive, allowing service providers to build their credibility over time:

  1. Complete profile information

  2. Verify contact information

  3. Submit professional credentials

  4. Complete in-person verification

  5. Maintain quality service standards

  6. Build positive review history

Impact on Search Results

Verification levels directly impact visibility and ranking in search results, with higher verification levels receiving preferential placement.
