Open the job, price the work, schedule, do the visit, write it up, invoice, get paid. Here is the whole job in order, with Dale's water heater as the example.
1. The job is one page
Open any job and you'll see one page, top to bottom: Job details, Estimates, Invoices, Schedule, Write-up & Photos, and Close out. The buttons at the top are the things you do most: On my way, Complete, Message, Call, and More.
Nothing is locked. Do the steps in the order that fits the job. The green outline shows the step we'd suggest next, and on your own jobs the write-up is optional.
Dale's job. Dale's water heater won't light. He found you on RV Help and you accepted the lead, so the job opens with his details, his RV and his message already on the page.
2. Price the work
Tap New estimate on the Estimates card. It opens with the job's price, your service call fee and your hourly rate filled in. Add or change line items, then say what Dale pays to book the visit and what he pays after the work. Send it, and Dale gets a text and an email with a link.
When Dale approves, the estimate becomes your invoice for that work automatically. Anything he paid to book is already counted on it.
Everything about estimates, what to collect, cancellation terms and contracts is in Estimates and invoices: pricing, terms and getting paid.
3. Schedule the visit and let them know you're coming
Tap Schedule appointment, pick a date, time and duration, and confirm. Dale gets the details, and the card shows the appointment with Change date & time if plans move.
On the day, tap On my way. It texts Dale right away.
4. Write up the work
Photos, what was wrong, and what you did about it. The cause and correction go on Dale's invoice and (for repair work) back your work under the nationwide workmanship guarantee. There's also a timer if you want your hours prefilled on the invoice.
5. Invoice and get paid
The Invoices card holds every invoice on the job: the one Dale's approved estimate became, and any you add for extra work. Open one to check it, then send it by text and email, by one or the other, or hand Dale the link or a QR code on the spot. Until he pays, you can update and resend it, or send a reminder.

6. Close the job
Paid, and done. When Dale has paid, the job stays open until you say the work is finished, so you can still add a charge if something came up. When you're ready, tap Mark complete on the Close out card. You can ask Dale for a review at the same time. The job then moves to your Completed tab. You can still add an invoice afterwards if extra work came up.
If you want the step-by-step view back
Tap More, then Switch to the classic workflow. Nothing about the job changes, and you can switch back the same way. The classic view stays available for 90 days.
