Here’s how the different types of connections work:

👥 Follower

A follower is someone who’s registered for an event you hosted. They’re automatically added to your followers list — and you can invite them to future events you host.

Want to grow your followers? Host more often and reach new audiences by mixing up your guest list.

👤 Following

You’re following someone when you’ve attended one of their events. This means they can invite you to any future events they host.

🤝 Mutual

A mutual is someone you’ve attended an event with — but neither of you are following the other (yet!).

📍 Nearby Host

Nearby Hosts are people hosting events close to your location. It’s a great way to discover new communities and meet people near you.
