Setting your address

When you filled in your application to join Ryde, you would have been asked to provide your address details.

How to change your address

You can change your registered address in the app at any time. To start, tap the My account icon in the top right of the home screen. Then select My Details, then Registered address.

From here, you can add your new address details by following the instructions.

The address you have in the Ryde app determines the location-specific communications and messages that Rydes sends you. If the address is set as London, you will receive messages appropriate for people in London.

You can use the job location filter (see below) to view and book jobs in a wider area, but if your address and location filter are different, any messages will be relevant to your address.

Using the job location filter

You can filter available shifts using the Map on the Find Jobs area of the app. Click Find jobs on the bottom navigation bar. Your location can be edited using the blue map and pencil icon in the top right.

Alternatively, from the Available Shifts screen (found after you tap Hourly shifts or Scheduled Jobs from the screen above) simply click on the icon in the top right to get started.

You can see work from any location, not just the one you are registered at. This can be useful if you are prepared to travel a little further for certain shifts. We may even show you shifts that are just outside you work area to ensure you have access to a wide range of appropriate work. We will always label these jobs as seen below.

Please note you will only receive messages and notifications for location-specific jobs based on the address you have set, not this job filter.

If you wish to be kept up to date with Ryde's messages, ensure your address and job location filter match.
