Most clients do not have a specific dress code required when working with them, however there is a basic level of dress that is expected at all times.
Failure to meet these standard stress codes may result in you being removed from a shift or a client requesting you not continue to have access to their work.
Basic dress code
When working a shift or job with Ryde we always expect our riders and drivers to uphold a standard level of presentability and hygiene.
General Guidelines:
All riders and drivers must adhere to the dress code policy while on duty.
The dress code aims to maintain a professional appearance and ensure safety.
Top Half:
Riders and drivers must wear a top that fully covers their upper body, including shoulders, chest, and back.
Acceptable tops include shirts, t-shirts, blouses, or sweaters.
Bottom Half:
Riders and drivers must wear bottoms that fully cover their lower body, including hips and upper thighs.
Acceptable bottoms include trousers, jeans, skirts, shorts or dresses of an appropriate length.
Footwear:
Riders and drivers must wear shoes that cover their toes entirely for safety reasons.
Acceptable footwear includes closed-toe shoes, boots, or athletic shoes.
Sandals, flip-flops, or any open-toe shoes are not permitted.
Where to find specific dress code requirements
Some clients may have specific dress code requirements such as colour or type of clothes. These will always be clearly listed in the shift notes, so please ensure you look over these closely before booking any shift.
