Some packages may contain items that must be either kept at a certain temperature or must be delivered within a certain amount of time to ensure they are safe to consume.

This amount of time is called a cold chain.

You will; be able to tell if items in your delivery are affected by a cold chain thanks to the Cold Chain section under Delivery steps. Here you can click on the blue icon to find out more about the package.

If for whatever reason the package is not delivered in time, then these items will be marked as failed, as seen below.

If failed, once you arrive for the delivery you will able to mark the items you cannot deliver (because they have failed the cold chain).

Please explain to the customer there are items that may have been spoiled, however they may take them as part of the delivery if they wish.

If they do not want them, mark the ones you are removing and click Confirm.

The job will then complete and you can continue delivering.
