When you initially joined Ryde, you would have been prompted to provide your bank account details for payment purposes.

How to Update Your Bank Account Details

You can update your bank account information in the app at any time to make sure your payments are accurately processed.

  1. To start, tap on the My Account icon, located in the top right corner of the home screen.

  2. Then, select My Details from the menu, then choose Bank Details.

From here, you can enter your new bank account information by following the on-screen instructions.

Useful information:

  • Once you've changed your bank details, you won't be able to make another change for 30 days.

  • Please make sure the account you are adding is a personal account. Business bank accounts are not supported.

  • If you are currently working a shift, then you will have to wait until the end of the shift to change your bank details.

  • It is always best to change the bank details on a Monday or Tuesday to ensure the payment will be sent to the new account.

  • Changing your bank details between Wednesday and Friday will not be possible as the next pay run is being processed.

Importance of Accurate Bank Account Information

The bank account details you provide are crucial for our payment system. These details ensure that:

  • You receive payments for your work on time.

  • You have access to accurate financial records within the app.

Updating your bank account details is also essential if you switch banks, open a new account, or find an error with your current payment information.

Tips for Smooth Payment Processing

  • Double-Check Details: Always double-check your bank account information for accuracy before submitting.

  • Update Promptly: Update your details as soon as possible after your banking information changes.
