I haven't received a welcome email

Checks to make if your Sage HR welcome email hasn’t arrived.

When your employer sets you up in Sage HR, you receive a welcome email. This email lets you activate your account and sign in.

If you haven’t received the email, follow the checks below.

Make sure your email security allows messages from:


Check with your employer

Ask your employer to confirm whether they sent the welcome email.

If they already sent it, ask them to resend it.

If you still don’t receive it, email security could be blocking the message, or the email address may be incorrect.

Check the email address used

Ask your employer to confirm the email address on your Sage HR profile.

They could have:

  • Used an alternative work or personal email address

  • Entered the address incorrectly

📌TIP: Ask your employer to show you the email address saved on your Sage HR profile to check for typos.

If you’ve completed all checks and still don’t have the email, tell your employer. Your employer can contact Sage HR Support to investigate further.
