Login screen loops back

What to do check if your login page keeps circling back to entering your email address.

When you try to log in, the login screen may loop back in one of two ways: 1. Email loop: You enter your email address and click CONTINUE TO SIGN IN, but the page refreshes and asks you to enter your email address again. 2. Password loop: You successfully reset your password, but after entering your new password the screen returns to a blank login page with no error message. Both issues are usually caused by the same things. Follow the steps below.


Step 1 - Clear cache and cookies

Once you've done this try to log in again. If the issue persists, and does so in every Internet browser, move on to the next check.


Step 2 - Admin checks your self-serve access

Looping back can be caused by an admin disabling your self-serve access. Check with your employer whether your self-serve access has been disabled or not. If it has they can enable it again for you to be able to log in.


Issue persisting?

If clearing cache and cookies doesn't work, and you've confirmed your access is definitely enabled, an admin will need to contact Sage support to investigate this further. This could be because the login has been blocked for security reasons.
