My account is Disconnected, what shall I do?

Overview

If your account status shows Disconnected this means your account needs to be reconnected to your LinkedIn profile.

To re-connect your account, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings, and then LinkedIn account settings

  2. You will get an error code. Read below what each error code means:

    Error 01: Unknown reason. If you get error 01, please contact our support team.

    Error 02: Your account has a server issue. Please contact support so our team can replace your account's server.

    Error 05: Your account has been restricted by LinkedIn.

    Error 07: Verification timeout, you need to press Save Changes in order to continue with your verification process.
    Anti-captcha: Click Save Changes and resolve the captcha puzzle


    Types of code verifications:

    • Enter LinkedIn verification PIN sent to your LinkedIn email address

    • Enter LinkedIn verification PIN sent to the phone number registered in LinkedIn

    • Tap YES on a notification sent to the LinkedIn mobile app

    • Enter the code from your authenticator app

      NOTE: any verification method that requires a code is time sensitive, and it will only be valid for about 15 minutes. If the code is not entered in those 15 minutes, error 7 will appear.

  3. After proceeding with one of the verification methods that the system requires, your account should be re-connected.

    We strongly recommend all users to go through the ID verification via Persona to prevent disconnection issues.
