Overview

Sometimes there might be some errors when it comes to verifying a profile in Salesflow directly. In these cases, there is an alternative way on how to verify the Linkedin profile using sessions and set it as active. Before starting this process, please have the LinkedIn account owner in standby as a security PIN or access authorization might be needed from them. This step cannot be bypassed

Step 1

Install sessions by following the steps in this guide (if you have it installed, skip this step)

Step 2

Locate the account ID in Salesflow, in your admin portal under Accounts. If you don’t have access to this, please contact our team to update your permission

You can also locate the account ID by going into the home page of the account. The account ID should be on the link, in this case the account ID is 31173

Step 3

log in to Sessions using your Salesflow credentials. If you cannot get pass this step, please reach out to us for permission update

Step 4

Once you click on Add account, a field will be displayed and you will be able to enter the Account ID you saved earlier . Enter it and click OK.

Step 5

After clicking OK, the account will show up and it will be displayed as follows

Step 6

Retrieve the LinkedIn account credentials in Salesflow under Settings -> LinkedIN account settings, and click Sign In

Step 7

Once you click the Sign In button, a captcha verification button will load, click it and you will be asked to complete the captcha verification.

Step 8

Once the captcha verification is completed, a code will be sent automatically to the Linkedin email address. Sometimes, this code is sent to the a phone number, or it can be an authenticator app code. In every scenario the page will tell you what code is asking for. In this example, the code is from an authenticator app.

Enter the code and click Submit

Step 9

Once the profile starts loading in sessions, head over to Salesflow, open the account settings > Linkedin account settings and press the save changes button.

Once you press the save changes button, the account should be set as active.
