SalesPlay POS App – Registration, Login, and Password Management Guide
The SalesPlay POS App has been improved to make registration, login, and user management smoother, faster, and more secure.
This article explains the key functions of the app, including:

Registration (Sign Up)
Registration is the first step to create your SalesPlay POS account. You can register via the POS App or the SalesPlay Back Office.
Important: The email address used during registration will be your unique identifier and cannot be changed later.
Steps to Register via the POS App
1. Download the SalesPlay POS App from the Play Store.
2. Open the app.
3. Tap the “Registration” button.
4. Enter all required details correctly, including a valid email address.
o Ensure you provide an active and correct email, it will be used for login and password recovery.
5. Tap “Register” to complete the process.
Once registered, you can log in using the same email and password via the web portal.
Sign In
If you registered through the web Back Office, you need to use “sign in” option to log in to the POS app using your same credentials.
Steps to Sign In
1. Download and open the SalesPlay POS App.
2. Tap “Sign In.”
3. Enter your registered email address (the same as your Back Office login).
4. Enter your password.
5. Select the correct Shop and Terminal Key (if applicable).
6. Tap “Sign In.”
You are now ready to use the POS app for sales operations.
Sign Out
The Sign Out function is used many occasions including when you operate multiple businesses using the same POS device.
For example, you may use the POS for one business in the morning and another in the evening.
Note: Unsaved data will be lost when you sign out. Always save open orders before signing out.
Steps to Sign Out
1. Open the POS App.
2. Go to the Main Menu.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll down and tap the “Sign Out” button.
Note: Printer setup will be cleared when you sign out, and you’ll need to reconfigure printers after signing back in.
Log Out (Using PIN Authentication)
The Log Out feature is different from Sign Out. It appears only when you have set Admin or Employee PINs in your Back Office.
This allows multiple employees to log in and out of the POS app securely during shift changes.
When Log Out Is Used
Each cashier or employee can log in with their unique PIN.
At the end of a shift, they can log out, and the next cashier can log in using their own PIN.
Steps to Log Out
1. Open the POS App.
2. Go to the Main Menu (tap the burger icon).
3. Tap the Padlock (🔒) icon.
4. The app will display the login screen, enter the employee PIN to log back in.
Forgot Password (Reset from POS App)
If you forget your SalesPlay account password, you can reset it directly from the POS App.
Steps to Reset Password
1. Open the SalesPlay POS App.
2. Tap “Sign In.”
3. Tap the “Forgot Password?” link.
4. Enter your registered email address.
5. Tap “Send.”
6. Check your inbox for a password reset email and follow the instructions.
Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions tab if the email isn’t in your inbox.
If a cashier forgets their PIN, the Admin can reset or check it via the Back Office → Users → Employees section.
How to Change POS Back Office Password
If you remember your password but want to change it for security reasons, you can do so through the SalesPlay Back Office.
Steps to Change Password
1. Go to the SalesPlay Back Office:

2. Click the Main Menu (☰) and then the Profile icon.
3. Select “My Profile.”

4. Click “Change.”
5. Enter your current password.
6. Enter a new password and confirm it.
7. Click “Save.”
Changing your password will sign you out of all devices connected to your account (Back Office and Dashboard apps).
How to Reset POS Back Office Password
If you’ve forgotten your Back Office password, follow these steps:

1. Go to the SalesPlay Back Office Login Page:

2. Click “Forgot Password?”

3. Enter your registered email address.
4. Click “Reset.”
5. You will receive an email — check your Inbox, Spam, or Other tabs.
6. Click the “Reset Password” button in the email.
7. Enter and confirm your new password.
8. Click “Save.”
Your password will now be successfully reset.
Setting Up and Changing PINs for Employees
The PIN system provides additional security for employee logins on the POS App. Each employee can have a unique PIN, defined by their role and access level.
Example Roles and Permissions
Cashier: Can perform billing operations only.
Supervisor: Can view reports.
Manager: Can delete receipts or manage employee settings.
Setting Up a New Employee PIN
1. Log in to the SalesPlay Back Office using your credentials.
2. Go to Users → Employees.
3. Click “Create Employee” or open an existing one.
4. Enter the employee’s details (Name, Role, Email, etc.).
5. Set a unique PIN for POS login.
6. Click “Create.”
After creation, ensure the POS App is connected to the internet to sync the new employee PIN.
Changing an Existing Employee PIN
1. Log in to the Back Office Web Portal.
2. Go to Users → Employees.
3. Select the employee whose PIN you want to change.
4. Enter a new PIN.
5. Click “Update.”
Once the POS App connects to the internet, the updated PIN will automatically sync.
Employee Login Using PIN
Once employees are created:
They can log in to the POS App using their assigned PIN.
Their POS username will appear in the app’s main menu during their shift.
