In this lesson we'll go over how to take photos of your sample locations with the mobile field app.

On the project specific home screen on the mobile app, click on the sample location you want to take a photograph of. At the top of the nest page are previous photographs that have been taken of that sample location.

To add a new photo, click the โ€œAddโ€ button on the bottom right side of the photo display window. When the camera application opens you can take as many photos as you would like. Photos will automatically be uploaded back the project data location for storage.

It is generally advisable to capture structures or site features in the background of the sample location so that the location can be clearly identified.

For each new sampling event work scope created, the mobile app will only download the last three photos taken for each new sampling work scope, this is to save on device storage capacity. However, all photos taken of the sample location by the mobile device, are uploaded and saved on the main storage platform.

That is how you take photos of your sample locations with the mobile field app.
