With Sandbox, we enable parents to make changes and updates to their profile through the parent portal. However, sometimes there may be certain changes that you want to view first before it goes live.

This may include items like adding allowed pickups or adding required documents.

That is why we allow you to set certain fields as "Requires Approval", meaning you will be notified of a pending change and you will have to approve the change before it goes live. Here's how you can set up and use the "Requires Approval" feature at your center.

First, navigate to your account profile (top right) > Settings > Parent Engagement > Edit Parent Engagement Settings.

*Please note: If you don't have Parent Engagement enabled you will have to do that first.

Once you are in the Parent Engagement Settings, you will see all of the different parent-facing fields listed with the option to select which ones you wish to have enabled.

Below a number of the fields, you will also notice a checkbox labeled "Requires Approval".

Check this box for the fields you wish to have this feature enabled for and then scroll to the bottom and click Save.

Navigate to your homepage and you will now see Change Requests in the notification section.

Now, when a parent makes a change to one of these fields, you be able to view the change in this section and choose whether to approve it or reject it.
