-Customer scans items but needs to go back to grab something else, use the save the cart feature so the line can keep moving, and you can open the cart back up later,

1. In the checkout screen, after scanning items, click Save for later in the top right of the screen.

1. On the left navigation bar under checkout, click Open carts.

2. Click on the cart that you desire to go back to in the list.
