Step-by-step instructions
A. Start a new promo code
1. Navigate to Products > Promotions.
2. Click Create Promotion.
3. In Promotion Title field, enter a name.
4. Set Promo Type to Promo Code.
B. Configure general settings
5. (Optional) Set an Expiration Date.
6. Enter the code customers will use in Promo Code field.
7. (Optional) Limit total uses in Usage Limit.
8. (Optional) Toggle options to restrict use to:
- Customers with an account
- Customers with loyalty history
9. (Optional) Limit the code to a specific group via Customer tags.
C. Define usage conditions (optional)
10. If you want to apply to any sale for a customer: choose Apply to All Sales or set qualifiers:
- Minimum Item Count
- Minimum Spend
- Specific Categories or Tags (e.g., Beer, Red Wine)
- Toggle Exclude Products with Promo Pricing if needed.
D. Set the discount
11. In Discount each product by, select one:
- Fixed Amount (e.g., $20 off)
- Percentage (e.g., 10 % off)
- Case/Pack Pricing (bulk price for single or pack)
12. (Optional) Restrict the discount to certain categories and toggle Exclude Promo-Priced Items if required.
13. Click Create to save the promo code.
