Creating a Loyalty Program

Create a Loyalty Program so customers earn points on eligible purchases and redeem them for future discounts.

Use cases

  • Reward repeat customers with point incentives

  • Drive higher basket sizes by setting a spend threshold

  • Run separate in-store vs. online loyalty campaigns



Step-by-step instructions

1. In the left nav, click Customers.

2. From the dropdown, click Loyalty.

3. Tap Create Loyalty Program (top right).

4. Enter the Program Name.

5. In the Amount Spent to Earn 10 Points field, type the dollar amount required to earn $1-worth of points (10 points).

6. In Minimum Spend to Qualify, set the lowest purchase total that earns points (enter `0` to award points on any sale).

7. (Optional) Restrict the program:

Channel – In-Store or Online

Categories / Tags - Beer, Wine, etc.

Customer Groups – VIP, Military, etc.

Days of Week – limit to specific days

8. After reviewing settings, click Create (top-right).

9. To edit later: open the program from the Loyalty list, adjust fields, then click Save (top-right).
