Use cases
- Offer free delivery within nearby ZIP codes but charge a fee for outer zones.
- Limit orders to certain times of the day and week.
- Automatically route order to a third party delivery service.
Step-by-step instructions
1. In the left navigation bar, click E-commerce.
2. At the top, choose Local Delivery.
A. Basic controls
- Enable / Disable Local Delivery – master toggle.
- Delivery Message – brief text that appears at checkout.
- Set a Minimum Order Size
B. Create delivery zones (Optional)
1. Click Add Zone.
2. Enter a Zone Name and list one or more ZIP codes.
3. Add a Delivery Fee and optionally a Maximum Cart Amount for that zone.
- Repeat for each zone you service.
C. Schedule local deliveries (Optional)
1. Toggle Limit deliveries to specific hours each day.
2. For each day, set Closed for delivery times.
3. Toggle Enable delivery time seelction if you want shoppers to choose a time from your store's available options.
D. Use third-party couriers (Optional)
1. Scroll down to Third-Party Delivery.
2. Click Enable DSPs or Enable option for third-party delivery for all orders
3. Fill DSP checkout option:
- Title (e.g., “Courier Delivery”)
- Subtitle
- Message (e.g., “Fast delivery via DoorDash”).
4. If needed, set Hours when courier deliveries are allowed.
5. Click Save (top-right) to publish changes.
