Scan the barcode in the order you see on this page, from top to bottom.
Factory Reset
If you're starting with a brand new scanner, you can scan this barcode to be safe.
If something goes wrong in your setup process, scan this reset barcode to start over.
Disable QR Codes & Idle Time Setting (Recommended)
We recommend disabling QR code scanning to avoid accidentally scanning QR codes that are near product barcodes.
Set the idle time to 30 minutes
Bluetooth & USB/USB Wireless Mode
By default, your scanner uses the USB wireless mode, but this scanner can be connected via Bluetooth.
Scan For USB Wireless Mode (Default)
We recommend this mode if you the scanner for register checkout.
Scan For Bluetooth mode
We recommend this mode when you need to connect to a tablet or smart phone for mobile tasks such as inventory counting or shelf restocking.
Prefix Setup (Required)
Scan each barcode in this section once and in the exact order shown. Do not skip or repeat any steps.
If something doesn't work, go to the top to factory reset the scanner. Then, redo the process from the top.
Add/Remove First Digit (Optional)
This section is optional.
This section lets you add or remove first digit of a barcode as show in the example below.
UPC-A (long barcodes) — Remove First Digit
UPC-E (Short Barcodes) — Remove First Digit
UPC-A (long barcodes) — Add First Digit
UPC-E (Short Barcodes) — Add First Digit
Add/Remove Last Digit (Optional)
This section is optional.
This section lets you add or remove the last digit of a barcode as show in the example below.
