Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to Customers > On the top right, open 'Tags'
Click on Create Tag > Type in Tax Exempt
Go to Products > Promotions > Create Promotion
Set a name for the Promotion
Scroll down to customer tags, add the tag "Tax Exempt"
Offer a promotion at checkout based on > Number of units Sold > Set it to 1
The promotion applies to > Taxes > Save
Use Cases
Often times we come across customer who are "Tax exempt" & we cannot charge them taxes. This method will help you automatically remove the taxes every time that customer enters their phone number
