How to Delegate Tasks by Job Roles

Delegating tasks by job roles in SaucedIt allows managers to assign checklists and events based on each employee’s position. This ensures the right staff have access to the tasks relevant to their role and helps maintain accountability across departments. Permissions can be adjusted as needed so that new or updated responsibilities are reflected automatically. This guide explains how to delegate tasks by job roles.

Delegating Tasks by Job Roles

  1. From the Dashboard, click the cog in the top right corner.

  2. Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Scroll down to Employee Access.

  4. To the right of Employee Access, click Employee Event Permissions.

  5. Select the relevant employee types.

  6. Choose from the Department and Job dropdown menus.

  7. Blue ticks show the events and checklists employees can currently access.

  8. Tick additional boxes for tasks you wish to assign.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Repeat this process anytime to assign new checklists or remove outdated ones.
