Why are my changes not showing in emails?

If you made changes in the editor but they do not appear in your Shopify notification emails, try these steps in order:

  1. Wait 10 seconds — Changes take a few seconds to reach Shopify

  2. Hard refresh the preview — in Shopify Notifications, press Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)

  3. Check if you need to re-export — structural changes (adding/removing sections, switching preset) require a new export

  4. Send a real test order — Shopify's preview can be cached. A real order always shows the latest state.

Note: Text, colors, buttons, footer, and marketing sections go live instantly. Only structural changes need a re-export. See "What changes go live instantly?" for the full list. If the issue persists, contact our support team with a screenshot.
