Requirements:
Save My Play camera (if you haven't plugged it in yet, click here)
Wifi connection (you’ll need to know network name and password)
A smartphone or laptop that will just be needed for a minute, one time, in order to connect your camera to your wifi connection
How to connect:
Using your smartphone or laptop, look for a wifi network called “Save My Play [number]” and connect to it. This network might take 30 seconds or so to show up once you plug in the camera
After connecting to “Save My Play [number]”, you should now see a screen that asks you to select a wifi network. Select your wifi network that you want the camera to use. Enter the password, and click connect. Please wait, after 10 seconds or so the page should disappear. This means you have successfully connected the camera! If the wifi network Save My Play [number]” shows up again, it means the connection was not successful. Please try connecting to it again, entering password, and clicking connect.
When successfully connected, “Save My Play [number]” should no longer appear. Your connection is saved permanently on the device, so this process only needs to be completed one time, or if you replace your router/get new wifi network, you will need to do it again.
Go back to the facility management web page (https://savemyplay.com/venue-management). The camera you just set up should now have a green dot next to it - which indicates it is working and online. Click the camera, and then click “refresh photo.” After a few seconds, this will show you a photo of what the camera currently sees. You can use this feature to position the camera exactly how you want it.
You’re ready to go! Start delighting your players by offering easy-to-use replays. You can also test the system by taking replays using your facility owner account.
