Is Envie paying me to play?

Envie does not pay users to play or to use the app. People use Envie to save their own money by linking it with their existing bank account.

No, Envie is designed to help you save your own money. It does not pay you to play or to use the app.

Users are able to earn a cash reward via the Goldie, but the Goldie is a reward that can only occurs up to 2 times during a savings challenge.

How Envie works

  • A user joins Envie and connects their existing checking or savings account.

  • The user chooses a savings goal ("Challenge") that can be achieved with 100 days of daily playing/saving.

  • Each time they open Envie to play/save, they will land on a random, small dollar amount to save for that day.

  • If confirmed, that dollar amount is transferred from their linked bank account to their Envie account.

  • This process is repeated up to 100 times, adding money in small amounts from the user's regular bank account to their overall savings goal within Envie.

  • The sum of the user's savings is transferred back to their linked account either when the 100-day Challenge ends or if the user opts to end the challenge early.

How the Goldie works

  • Envie will reward users for "catching a Goldie."

  • Goldies are golden envelopes that appear on the game board.

  • A Goldie is "unlocked" after a user reaches a 30-day savings streak and/or starts a new challenge after completing a full 100-day one.

  • When a Goldie is landed on ("caught") in regular gameplay, Envie will pay the user's savings amount for that day only.
