Once the E-Invoice subscription is activated, the ability to export orders as XMLs will be live directly on your Shopify Admin.
How To Export a Single Order
Navigate to your Shopify Orders page.
Click on the specific order you want to export as XML and open its details.
In the top right menu, click on More actions.
Select Export e-Invoice XML from the dropdown list.
A new pop-up window will appear on your screen.
Click the Export 1 order button.
If the data is correct and processed successfully, you will be prompted with the following message: "e-Invoice XML generated successfully. Click the download button below."
Click the Download [Filename].xml button.
The machine-readable XML file will now be downloaded directly to your computer.
How To Export Multiple Orders
Navigate to your Shopify Orders page.
Check the boxes next to the specific orders you want to export.
Click on the More actions button (often represented by three dots ...) that appears at the top of the order list.
Select Export e-Invoice XML from the dropdown menu.
A new pop-up window will appear on your screen.
Click the Export [X] orders button.
If the data is correct and processed successfully, you will be prompted with a message indicating the export is complete.
Click the [Filename].xml Download button.
A ZIP file containing your machine-readable XML files will now be downloaded directly to your computer.
Note: Once the orders are exported, they will contain the tag “XML Exported”, which will be displayed on the Shopify Orders admin page.
