Add-On Billing Details and Subscription Pricing

Written by Haris Spahovic

Base Plan & Included Invoices

E-Invoicing and Peppol Add-On costs $10 USD per month. This base subscription automatically includes a monthly allowance of 25 FREE Peppol invoices, regardless of whether you use the full amount.

Please note that this included allowance and your usage limits restart at the beginning of every month, while you are being billed in accordance with you regular Shopify billing cycle.

Spending Limits & Overages

Upon activating your subscription, Shopify will ask you to approve a $5 USD spending limit. Please note that this is not an immediate charge; it is simply a pre-approved reserve to cover any potential overages.

If you exceed your 25 included invoices, each additional invoice costs $0.10. You will only be charged for the exact number of extra invoices you process.

  • Example 1 (Under the limit): If you send 20 invoices in a month, you are completely covered by your included allowance. You will only pay the standard $10 subscription fee, and your $5 spending reserve remains untouched.

  • Example 2 (Over the limit): If you send 35 invoices in a month (25 included + 10 extra), your final bill will be the $10 base fee plus $1.00 for the overages (10 x $0.10). Out of your $5 approved reserve, only $1.00 will actually be deducted.

Increasing Your Usage Limit

Your initial $5 spending limit allows you to send up to 50 extra invoices (75 invoices total per month). If you use all of these, you will be prompted to increase your app usage limit to continue sending Peppol invoices.

To increase your limit:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin and navigate to Settings > Plan.

  2. Click the three dots (...) next to the app.

  3. Select View spending limit.

  4. Enter your new desired cap in the New limit section.

  5. Click Save.

Disclaimer: E-Invoicing and Peppol cannot be added as a stand-alone subscription, without a valid base OPP app plan (Free, Starter, Growth, Scail).
