If you are running a B2B operation on Shopify, personalization is key to building trust with your professional clients. We are excited to announce that your B2B Data App Blocks now fully support multi-market language settings.
What does this mean for your store?
In the past, B2B data (like company profiles, price lists, or tax IDs) might have remained in your store’s primary language, regardless of where the customer was shopping from.
Now, the B2B app block is fully dynamic. It automatically detects the customer’s Market and Local settings and displays the information in their preferred language.
See it in action
Imagine you have two markets set up: United Kingdom (English) and Germany (German).
The UK Experience: When a buyer from London logs in, the B2B data block (labels, fields, and instructions) will appear entirely in English.
The German Experience: When a wholesaler from Berlin visits your site, the exact same app block will automatically switch to German.
This creates a seamless, professional experience that makes your international customers feel at home and reduces the friction of completing a B2B purchase.
How to set up your languages
This feature relies on your Shopify Market settings. You don't need to write complex code; you simply need to ensure your markets have the correct languages assigned and translated.
To manage your market languages and add new translations, follow the official Shopify guide here: 👉 Shopify Guide: Localization and Translation
NOTE: Only languages that Shopify officially supports will apply the translation on the Checkout, Thank you page, and Order Status Page
