How to Export Order(s) as UBL or CII Compliant XML File

With the E-Invoice subscription active, the option to export orders in the XML format will be available through your Shopify Orders page.

How to Export a Single Order

  1. Go to your Shopify Orders page.

  2. Click on the specific order you want to export and open its details.

  3. In the top right menu, click on More actions.

  4. Select Open in eInvoicing Hub from the dropdown list.

  5. The order will be visible in the e-Invoicing and Peppol menu.

  6. Confirm the order to export by ticking the checkbox for the selected order.

  7. Click on Export XML,

  8. Choose format for the XML (Peppol UBL (BIS 3.0) or CII (UN/CEFACT)

  9. Select the desired format

  10. The machine-readable XML file will now be downloaded directly to your computer.

How to Export Multiple Orders

  1. Go to your Shopify Orders page.

  2. Check the boxes next to the specific orders you want to export.

  3. Click on the More actions button (often represented by three dots ...) that appears at the top of the order list.

  4. Select Open in eInvoicing Hub from the dropdown list.

  5. Orders will be visible in the e-Invoicing and Peppol menu.

  6. Confirm the orders to export by ticking the checkboxes for selected orders.

  7. Click on Export XML.

  8. Select format for Exported XML (Peppol UBL (BIS 3.0) or CII (UN/CEFACT)

  9. Select the desired format.

  10. A ZIP file containing your machine-readable XML files will now be downloaded directly to your computer.

Note: Once the orders are exported, they will contain the tag “XML Exported”, which is visible on the Shopify Orders admin page.
