Task Type
generate_music: Creates music based on a given prompt.
generate_music_custom: Allows for more detailed customization, such as setting specific tags and titles.
Prompt
A descriptive text input that guides the music generation or lyrics for the song. Please be sure to set the lyrics type parameter to “user” for custom lyrics. For example, “a relaxing piano melody”.
Negative Tags
Keywords used to exclude specific elements from the generated music. For instance, “rock, metal” will ensure the output doesn’t include elements of those genres.
Tags
Keywords that define the style, genre, or mood of the generated music. Examples include “jazz,” “upbeat,” or “melancholic”.
GPT Description Prompt
A detailed description provided to guide the Udio in generating music. This is particularly useful for advanced tasks where more creative input is needed. For instance, “revving engines, tire screeches, skidding sounds, fast-paced electronic music, wind whooshing”.

The name of the song you want to generate.
Make Instrumental (On/Off)
A toggle option to specify whether the output should include lyrics or be purely instrumental.
Lyrics Type
generate: Automatically creates lyrics based on the prompt.
user: Allows you to provide your own lyrics.
instrumental: Generates music without any lyrics.
Seed
An optional integer value to ensure reproducibility. Using the same seed with identical parameters will generate the same output. The default value is 1, which results in random outputs each time.
