Introduction to the Faceless video maker

Overview

The Faceless video maker in Scade allows users to generate short-form, faceless video content using AI-powered agents. This tool is ideal for content creators who want to automate the production of reels for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok — with no need for filming, editing, or voice acting.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Launch the Faceless video maker

Go to the Agent section in the Scade platform.

Click Start creating, or select Create > Faceless video maker.

This launches the Reels Agent setup interface.

2. Choose your story type

You’ll be prompted to select a story category.

Available types include:

  • Animal stories

  • Love stories

  • Mystery & detective

  • Motivational, fun facts, and others

Example: “Animal stories” for lighthearted, engaging content.

Select your desired category to continue.

3. Select a Voice

Scade offers a variety of voiceover options:

  • Basic (default voices)

  • Freemium (higher-quality voices)

Preview each voice by clicking Play.

Select the one you prefer for your story.

Click Next to proceed.

4. Set up subtitle preferences

Choose whether to enable subtitles:

  • Off: Voiceover only

  • On: Customize subtitle style and color

Subtitle customization options include:

  • Primary marker type (e.g., bold, highlighted)

  • Quick-access color selection

When ready, click Create Agent.

5. Interact with your agent

Your newly created agent will appear in the Agents area.

It uses a chat interface, where you input your story prompts.

Example prompt:

“Generate a story about a cat working at McDonald’s.”

Type the prompt into the chat and send it.

The agent begins processing your request.

6. How the Agent works

The agent uses three specialized engines to generate your reel:

Engine

Function

Story Weaver

Writes the full story

Scene Designer

Visualizes and animates each scene

Reel Engine

Assembles the full video

The process is sequential and visible on the interface.

You can track progress in real time.

7. Review the output

After processing, the agent provides:

  • Full voiceover script

  • Scene-by-scene visuals and descriptions

  • Animation prompts and object actions

  • Subtitle overlays

You can request edits by typing commands into the chat:

  • “Make the cat in scene 4 gray”

  • “Replace the background in scene 2 with a kitchen”

The agent updates only the requested elements, keeping others intact.

8. Finalize your video

Once you’re satisfied with the scenes and text:

  • Command Generate Video to produce the final animated reel.

The video includes:

  • 5 generated scenes with light animation

  • Chosen voiceover

  • Styled subtitles

The final result is a short-form video (e.g., 19 seconds) ready for publishing.

9. Access and manage agent chats

Use the burger menu to open and manage multiple agent chats.

Agents are saved and can be reopened or edited anytime.

In the edit agent menu you can also:

  • Change story type

  • Switch voiceovers

  • Update subtitle settings

  • Edit the agent profile (name, image, description)

Advanced users can enable step-by-step rendering to review and approve each stage of the process.

10. Schedule and automate publishing

Scade supports platform connectors, including:

  • Instagram

  • YouTube

  • TikTok

Set up an automation schedule:

  1. Name your schedule

  2. Define how often it runs

  3. Connect it to an agent

Your reels will be automatically created and published based on this setup.

Final notes

  • The system supports iterative edits — you can continuously refine your visuals and narration.

  • Agents streamline the creative process by handling generation, correction, and publishing.
