The Scalelist add-on finds emails, phone numbers and leads right inside your Google Sheet.
Before You Start
A Scalelist account (sign up here) with credits.
A sheet with one row per person and columns for First Name, Last Name, and Company Name or Company Website.
Step 1 - Install the add-on
Open the Scalelist add-on page and click Install. Allow the permissions Google asks for.
Step 2 - Open Scalelist in your sheet
1. Open your Google Sheet.
2. Click Extensions → Scalelist - Email & Phone Finder → Open.
3. The first time, Google shows Authorization required. Click OK, choose your Google account and allow access.
Step 3 - Connect your Scalelist account
1. In the Scalelist sidebar, click Sign in.
2. Copy your API key from the API & MCP page in Scalelist (click New key if you have none).
3. Paste it and click Save.
Step 4 - Find emails
1. Click the Email tab.
2. Tell Scalelist where your data is. For each field: click a cell in the matching column of your sheet, then click the grid button next to the field. The column letter appears.
3. Keep My table has headers ticked if your first row has titles.
4. Click Find Emails.
5. Scalelist adds 3 columns to your sheet: Email, Status (valid, risky or not found) and Result. The sidebar shows a summary.
Find phone numbers
Click the Phone tab. Map your columns the same way, then click Find Phones.
Find leads at a company
1. Click the Leads tab.
2. In Single, type a company website (for example scalelist.com) and choose Max results. In Bulk, pick the column of your sheet that has the company websites.
3. Click Find Leads. The people found and their emails go into a new sheet.
What It Costs
1 email found = 1 credit (a "risky" email is a result and also costs 1 credit)
1 phone number found = 10 credits
Leads tab: 1 credit per email returned
No result = no charge
Good to Know
Test on 10 to 20 rows first to check your columns are mapped correctly.
Scalelist works row by row, so a big sheet takes some time. You can keep working while it runs.
The sidebar shows "Please update your API key"? Click it and paste your API key again.
