What This Does
Scalelist MCP uses the Model Context Protocol to connect ChatGPT with your Scalelist account.
Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT to:
Find leads with their emails from any domain
Find emails for a single contact
Find emails in bulk from a list of people
Find mobile numbers for a single contact
Find mobile numbers in bulk from a list of people
ChatGPT calls Scalelist in the background and returns verified results instantly. Every find costs credits from your Scalelist plan. No result = no charge.
What You Need
A Scalelist account (sign up here)
ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team plan — custom connectors are not available on the free plan
Setup — 2 Minutes
1. Go to chatgpt.com and log in.
2. Click your profile icon → Settings → Apps & Connectors.
3. Go to Advanced Settings and toggle Developer Mode on. Confirm when prompted.
4. Go back to Apps & Connectors and click Add new connector.
5. Fill in:
Name: Scalelist
Authentication: OAuth
Click Save.
6. A browser tab will open automatically. Sign in to your Scalelist account with Google, Microsoft, or email and password. Click Authorize. When you see "Authentication complete", close the tab.
7. Use it in a conversation. Start a new chat → select Deep Research mode → click + → Add sources → toggle Scalelist on.
8. Confirm it's working. Type: "Check my Scalelist credits"
If ChatGPT returns your balance, you're live.
Troubleshooting
"I don't see Apps & Connectors in Settings" → You need a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Team plan. The free plan doesn't support custom connectors.
"I don't see the option to add a custom connector" → Developer Mode must be enabled first. Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced Settings → toggle Developer Mode on.
"Auth window opened but ChatGPT shows disconnected" → Close the browser tab and return to ChatGPT — the connection finalises automatically. If it still shows disconnected, repeat from Step 4.
"Scalelist is connected but ChatGPT returns nothing" → Check two things: (1) you are in Deep Research mode — standard chat does not support connectors yet. (2) Your credit balance in Scalelist — if you're at zero, results won't come back.
"No result for a specific contact" → Try again with the full name and company domain spelled out. No credits are charged for empty results.
"I want to disconnect" → Settings → Apps & Connectors → Scalelist → Remove.
