*Please note you will need to have created a ballot before you can setup your domain.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Sign In and Navigate to Org Settings
Go to bestof.cityspark.com and sign in to your account.
Once logged in, click on Org Settings in the main navigation.
2. Go to Domains
In the Org Settings area, select the Domains tab from the top header.
Click on the Add Domain button.
Option A: Setting Up a Universal URL (Please do not use to for Photo Contests or if you are linking it to a ballot.)
3. Create Your Custom URL
In the domain field, enter your desired custom URL.
Example:customurl.bestof.cityspark.com
4. Choose Forwarding or Ballot Destination
You’ll be asked whether you'd like to:
Forward the URL to a specific external link
ORIf you are linking the Universal URL to a ballot, please use the Single Ballot URL. It can create errors if you link a specific ballot.
5. Add the Domain
Click Add New Domain.
The system will validate the URL and then provide CNAME records.
Provide these records to your web host and ensure it's added as a subdomain with the correct CNAME record type.
Option B: Setting Up a Single Ballot URL (Can be used for all ballot types)
6. Select Single Ballot URL
Instead of selecting “Universal URL” from the dropdown, choose Single Ballot URL.
7. Enter Your Desired URL
Add your desired subdomain.
Example:bestof.singleballoturl.cityspark.com
8. Choose a Ballot
Select the relevant ballot from the list provided.
Example: “Best of 2024 Nominations”
9. Finalize Setup
Click Add New Domain.
CNAME records will be generated—provide these to your web host and ensure it’s added as a subdomain with the correct CNAME record type.
