Sell custom ads through self-serve by making a few easy settings changes.
To add custom ad types:
Sign in to your best of account
In navigation, go to Advertising
On the Advertising setup page, click settings
In settings, look for the header “Enable Ballot Sales Portal”
If not already turned on, click the radio button to do so.
Scroll down to “Custom Ads” and click the “+ ADD CUSTOM AD” button
A form will pop up:
Title Override: name your custom ad
Ad Image: appears next to the custom ad in the self service portal, helps distinguish between different custom ad types
Description: tell advertisers what exactly they’ll be getting
Max sales limit: the amount of inventory for that item you have
Price: set the price with just numbers, no dollar signs or commas
Once you fill out the form to your satisfaction, click save
The form pop up will close
Hit save again at the bottom to save all of the changed settings - the item will not appear until you’ve hit the final save button
Use the “buy link” to send advertisers directly to the portal to check out
