Creating Custom Ad Packages

Sell custom ad packages and bundles through self-service with a few easy settings changes

Give your advertisers the option to add print advertising or a custom engagement using the self-serve portal. To do so:

  • Sign in to your best of account

  • In navigation, go to Advertising

  • On the Advertising setup page, click settings

  • In settings, look for the header “Enable Ballot Sales Portal”

    • If not already turned on, click the radio button to do so.

  • Scroll down to “Ad Packages” and click the “+ ADD PACKAGE” button

  • A form will pop up:

    • Package Name: name your custom package

    • Description: tell advertisers what exactly they’ll be getting

    • Select Which Ad Units: click the checkbox besides the items that should be bundled

    • Package Price: set the price with just numbers, no dollar signs or commas

  • Click save and the form pop-up will close

  • Hit save again at the bottom to save all of the changed settings - the item will not appear until you’ve hit the final save button

  • Use the “buy link” to send advertisers directly to the portal to check out
