  • Click the name of the specific ballot you wish to import.

  • Navigate to the left-hand side navigation bar.

  • Click on the "import" option

  • Upon clicking the import option, you'll be presented with several choices:

    • Import File for Ballot: This option is for importing groups and categories only

    • Import Final List: Use this option if you have groups, categories, and pre-populated choices

    • Import Ads: import ads by ad type

  • Click the Choose File button

  • Your ballot file must:

    • Be a .CSV

    • Contain the following column headers:

      • Group

      • Category

      • Pre-populated choice - OPTIONAL

  • After uploading the file, navigate to the Ballot Builder section.

  • Check that all the groups and categories loaded as expected

If you’d like to upload pre-populated choices:

  • Follow the above import process, except select the "Final List" option

  • upload the CSV file containing the groups, categories, and pre-populated fields

  • Once uploaded, your pre-populated fields will be integrated into the ballot setup.

By following these steps, you can efficiently import ballot files, set up groups, categories, and even include pre-populated options for your voting system. This ensures that your ballot is properly configured and ready for use, facilitating smooth and organized elections or surveys.
