Integrating email opt-ins into your Best Of platform is a strategic approach to expand your audience and gather valuable voter email addresses. Follow these simple steps to seamlessly add opt-in fields to your platform.
Sign in to your Best Of platform account
Choose the ballot where you want to implement email opt-ins
Click on "Design" from the left-hand navigation bar
Once the Design page loads, click on the "General" tab
Scroll down to find the section titled "Opt-in to Email Lists"
Click the "Add Opt-in" button
Customizing the Opt-in Field
In the text field, provide a name for the opt-in and a brief description of what voters are opting into
PLEASE NOTE: Do not include commas in the text field. Commas in the text field result in export file issues so it is a best practice not to add commas in this field.
Mark whether the opt-in is required or not
Once you've configured the opt-in field to your satisfaction, click "Save."
