Configuring Settings for to Successfully Go Live

When it's time to launch your ballot and make it available to your audience, there are several settings you'll need to configure. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless transition from setup to going live.

  • Sign in to your account.

  • Navigate to the specific ballot you intend to launch

  • On the left-hand navigation bar within the ballot overview page, scroll down to find and click on "Publish."

  • Once Publish loads, you will have options for:

    • When voting starts and stops

      • Manual: turns the ballot on and off via a toggle

      • Schedule: ballot will turn on and off based on a schedule you set

      • Show Ballot Results: will show the ballot and the results by rank

    • Privacy Settings

      • Public

      • Private

        • allows you to set a password or for the ballot to only be accessible via a link

    • Pre/Post Voting Display Settings

      • When voting is finished, what do you want the ballot to do

      • Your options include:

        • Landing page only, so just viewing that initial landing page

        • or, show full ballot with voting disabled

          • still show the groups, categories, and nominees, but there is no option to vote.

  • Once you've configured all settings to your liking, click "Save and Publish."

  • Your ballot is now live and ready for engagement.
