How to Create and Manage Users on CitySpark Admin Dashboard

Welcome to CitySpark Admin! Managing user access is crucial for ensuring smooth operations within your organization. This guide will walk you through the process of creating users and managing their roles effectively.

Creating a User

To create a new user, follow these steps:

  • Accessing the Admin Dashboard: Begin by navigating to admin.cityspark.com in your web browser.

  • Navigating to Users: Once logged in, click on the "Users" tab located on the dashboard.

  • Creating a User: Select the "Create User" option to initiate the user creation process.

  • Entering User Details: Fill in the required fields, including the user's name, email address, and select your account.

  • Setting Password and Role: Set a password for the user and assign them a role. Remember, the role determines the level of access the user will have within the platform.

    • Manager Role: Provides full access to all features and functionalities on the admin dashboard.

    • Agent Role: Offers limited access, restricting certain features while enabling essential functionalities. They are only able to see Home, Analytics, Widgets, Events, Ads/sponsorships and help.

  • Selecting a Role: Ensure that you select only one role per user. It's unnecessary to assign both roles.

  • Responsibility: The "Responsibility" field can be utilized for organizational purposes but does not affect user permissions.

Managing User Accounts

Once a user account is created, you'll have access to these three buttons:

  • Save: Save the user's details after making any changes.

  • Send Login Information: Use this option to send a password reset email to the user.

  • Remove User: This button removes the user from your account and revokes their admin privileges. Note that it does not delete the user.
