Cancelling a promotion and requesting a refund

Refunding promotion purchases

Here are the steps for cancelling a promotion and requesting a refund:

  1. Go to Ads/Sponsorships > Ads/Promoted Events.

  2. Find the promotion you're looking for.

    1. You can search by Event Title, Contact Email, or Order Number.

  3. Click Deny. This will open up a popup where you can choose how to give the refund.

  4. Select which promotions in the order you want to deny.

  5. Select Refund or Customer Credit Requested.

    1. If you select Customer Credit, you will need to supply this for them. We can't apply a credit to their account. Since certain promotions are free for admins to utilize, you can add whatever promotions you want to their event after they've submitted. Simply tell them when they're ready to use the credit, to submit their event for free and reach out. You will add the promotions to their event.

    2. If you've selected Refund, this will send us an email so we can handle the refund.

  6. Give a reason for denial. Please tell us why they need a refund and what they need a refund for.

  7. Submit.
