Mastering Your ScheduleDrop Account Settings

Use this guide to configure your account, understand each available option, and ensure your platform is set up to match your business operations. If you completed an onboarding call, most of these settings will already be configured for you.

Accessing Settings

To access your account settings, click Settings in the bottom-left corner of your ScheduleDrop dashboard. This will bring you to the Company Settings page, which serves as the starting point for all configuration options.

Company Settings

The Company Settings page contains your basic company information and business hours.

Company Information

Enter the following details in the designated fields:

  1. Company name

  2. Email address

  3. Phone number

  4. Street address

  5. City, state, and ZIP code

  6. Company logo

Business Hours

Below your company information, set your business hours for each day of the week. Use the Add Business Hours tool to quickly apply the same hours across multiple days at once.

Application Settings

The Application Settings section contains several subsections that control how your ScheduleDrop account functions.

General Settings

  • Payment Holder Time — Set the number of hours before a booking when the payment is placed on hold.

  • Time Zone — Select the time zone in which your business operates.

  • Currency — Choose the currency used to charge customers. Select USD if your business operates in the United States, or the appropriate currency for your country.

  • Address Search Country — Select the country where you enter addresses. This limits address suggestions in the Create Booking form to locations within the selected country.

  • Enable Call Recordings — This option is only available if you have a Twilio integration connected.

  • Enable Automatic Payments — This setting is enabled by default. When active, the system automatically places payments on hold before a booking begins and charges the payment after the booking duration is complete.

  • Schedule Blast Provider Control — When toggled on, providers can automatically accept jobs and be assigned to the booking. When toggled off, providers can accept jobs, but an admin must manually assign them to the booking.

Booking Settings

This section allows you to manage your available booking frequencies. Standard frequencies are selected by default.

To add a custom frequency:

  1. Locate the Add Frequency Options section.

  2. Select the frequency you want to add (for example, bi-monthly).

  3. Click Save Changes.

Once saved, the new frequency will appear in the frequency list when creating bookings. If a frequency you need is not available during booking creation, return to this section to add it.

Integrations

The Integrations section contains all of your third-party connections, including:

  • Stripe (payment processing)

  • Twilio (calls and text messaging)

  • Mailgun (email delivery)

  • Zapier API key

If you completed an onboarding call, these integrations are already configured. For assistance with any integration, contact the support team through the chat widget.

Booking Forms

The Booking Forms section controls the pricing and configuration used in the Create Booking button. Within this section, you can:

  • Edit pricing

  • Adjust duration

  • Create new booking forms

  • Modify existing forms

For detailed guidance on managing booking forms, refer to the Booking Form Mastery video or contact support through the chat widget.

Online Booking

The Online Booking section controls how your booking form appears when embedded on your website.

Payment Methods

Select which payment methods customers may use: card, cash, or check.

Appearance

Customize the visual design of your booking form:

  • Header color

  • Primary brand color (controls text color)

  • Header text color

  • Logo upload

Branding and Terms

  • Toggle the Hide ScheduleDrop Branding switch to remove ScheduleDrop branding from the form.

  • Add terms and conditions that customers must accept before submitting a booking.

Page Header

Customize the main header and subheader text. By default, the header reads "Book Your Appointment" and the subheader reads "100% Satisfaction Guarantee, No Hidden Fees." You may edit both to reflect your brand messaging.

Button Customization

Modify button colors and button text to match your brand identity.

General Settings

Service Areas

Service areas allow you to define the geographic regions your business covers and restrict online bookings to those locations.

To create a service area:

  1. Click New Service Area.

  2. Enter a territory name.

  3. Add the ZIP codes covered by the service area.

  4. Assign providers to the service area.

Once created, service areas can be assigned to booking forms, ensuring that customers can only book services within the areas you cover.

Cancellation Fees

To create a cancellation policy:

  1. Click Create Policy.

  2. Set your cutoff hours.

  3. Select a fee type: percentage or flat rate.

  4. Enter the fee amount.

  5. Assign the policy to specific booking forms.

Additional Fees

Use this section to configure sales tax, processing fees, or any other supplemental charges. To create an additional fee:

  1. Click Create Additional Fee.

  2. Enter a name for the fee.

  3. Select a fee type: percentage or flat rate.

  4. Enter the fee amount.

  5. Add a description.

  6. Check the Customer Fee box if you want the fee to be automatically applied when a booking is created.

When the Customer Fee option is enabled, the fee will appear on the customer-facing online booking form, ensuring customers are aware of charges such as processing fees or sales tax before completing their booking. Admins retain the ability to remove the fee from individual bookings when necessary.

Tags

Tags allow you to categorize customers, bookings, and providers for easier internal tracking. For example, you may create a booking tag labeled "First Booking" to signal to your team that extra attention is warranted.

To use tags effectively, create them within this section and apply them where appropriate throughout your account.

Admin Management

The Admin section displays all current administrators on your account.

To add a new admin:

  1. Click Add Admin.

  2. Enter the admin's information.

  3. Select a role: Super Admin or Manager.

  4. Save the entry.

  5. Click the three dots next to the admin's name and send the registration link so they can create their login.

Role Permissions

  • Super Admin — Full access to all areas of the account, including financial information.

  • Manager — Restricted access. Managers cannot view financial information or other sensitive data.

Select the appropriate role based on the level of access each team member requires.

Subscription

The Subscription section allows you to manage your billing and plan. From this page, you can:

  • View your active plan

  • View the card on file

  • Change your plan

  • Update your payment method

  • Deactivate your account

Client Hub Settings

The Client Hub Settings control what customers can see and do within their customer portal.

Portal Visibility

  • Show Assigned Provider — Toggle on to display the assigned provider to customers. When enabled, select how the provider's name is shown: first name only, first and last initial, or full name.

  • Show Provider Profiles — Toggle on to allow customers to view provider profiles. Customers can only access this information if they have created a login with your company.

Customer Actions

This section controls what customers are permitted to do within the client portal. The following actions are enabled by default:

  • Allow New Bookings

  • Allow Rescheduling

  • Allow Cancellations

Each action can be toggled on or off. For rescheduling and cancellations, you may set a specific window restricting how close to the appointment customers can take these actions. We recommend allowing rescheduling and cancellations up to 48 hours before the scheduled booking.
